Ayurvedic Face Mask

A hydrating herbal face mask best used during these winter months when the wind can dry out our skin and hydration is needed.
• 2 tbsp Chickpea flour
• 1/4 tsp Triphala powder**
• 1/8 tsp powered Turmeric
• 3-4 tbsp Coconut oil or Ripe Avocado
Melt the coconut oil in a small pan. Put coconut oil or mashed avocado in a small airtight jar and add the chickpea flour, triphala, and turmeric. Stir evenly into a soupy paste. Apply directly after your hot shower. Use a small amount of the paste and rub a thin layer onto clean facial skin. Take your time here and massage it thoroughly onto the skin, increasing circulation and maximizing exfoliation. Keep the paste on for at least 15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water only. Store jar in fridge and thaw before each use.

**Triphala powder for the skin is a powerful exfoliant, removes dead skin cells & opens pores, is a strong antioxidant & contains high levels of Vitamin C, rejuvenates the skin on a cellular level, is anti-aging, and helps to clear blemishes.

Best to enjoy this with a friend and apply the masks for each other! Make sure to give your friend the facial massage they hope for. You may get one in return!
